An improvisational quintet mostly performs original compositions and others of the wider jazz repertoire. Its main inspiration is the sound of modern European jazz combined with music from the Mediterranean and the Balkans.

Its first record is The Murderess and the second one is The 3d Duty (released on 01.12.18 and recorded during quintet's live performance).

MICHALIS KATACHANAS & VASSILIS TZAVARAS DUET

Michalis Katachanas and Vassilis Tzavaras improvise and present their own compositions based on the "Guerre des Paysages" performance which was successfully launched in 2017 in Athens and subsequently presented in Reims and Paris.
A collective version (book + CD) was released in May 2019, including excerpts of the play's texts along with the original music of the aforementioned musicians.

Frog String Quartet was born in Athens by an intimate group of musicians and combines the musical tradition of Jazz and the Balkans with the classical flavour of a modern string quartet.
